Fn lock
Here's my problem... I like to play RA, but when I'm at work I use my laptop to play. HP seems to think that everyone uses their Fn keys more than the actual F12345678 keys, so they locked Fn, and now I have to hold Fn and hit the tiny F123456 keys to weapon swap.
Quite frankly, it's impossible to run dev hammer sins or bb wars like this, also weaponswapping as a monk; tough.
Does anyone know how I can unlock this ridiculous key?

What model of laptop do you have?
Usually there is a Function button that will enable and disable this. I'm surprised if yours doesn't have one.

Can you try this:
Quote:
If you're writing numbers instead of letters when you press the keyboard of your laptop and you must hold down the Function key (Fn) to write normally.
Solution
This is due to the fact that the digital lock is activated.
To solve this, simply press the Fn+Numlk or depending of the model, press the button or Fn + Shift +Numlk
On an IBM Thinkpad, you must press Shift + Scroll Lock Num

If Dark_Slayers advice doesn't work, you can set different keys to do the weapon swap in GW > Options > Control. They are listed as Inventory: Activate Weapon Set 1-4

If you cant figure it out let me know and I will give you exact directions.
It makes it so you have to hold fn to use the fn keys and the f123456789 are open all the time. Which is perfect for gameing.

Why not plug in a full-size keyboard? You could leave the keyboard at work.
Keyboards are dirt cheap, but if you don't want to pay, you could always ask your boss to buy you one - I'm sure they'll understand your need LOL :-D
